A complete Foodie I have been digging into a variety of cuisines in various restaurants. There are some I keep going back to while others have been mere one time visits.
MayaBazar is a stand-alone multi-cuisine that has completely bowled me over. Delectable preparations amidst a refreshing ambience, extremely economical; makes this place my hot favourite. Located in Karkhana, Secunderabad in the lane behind Goutham Model School; MayaBazar has never witnessed an empty moment and is buzzing with customers round the clock. I, myself have lost count of my visits there.
Cane furniture sitting on pebbles & small rocks with the atmosphere chilled by the desert coolers; nature lovers can enjoy the best of both worlds here – restaurant embracing nature!
The crowd is a perfect amalgamation of all age-groups and the not-too bright light makes visibility just perfect. Service is prompt while food quality is at par excellence.
My favourite from the exhaustive menu is – Fresh Lime Soda Sweet, Masala Papad, Butter Naan, Dal Makhani, Chicken Lababdar and Chicken Biryani.
The other yummy delicacies that should be tried are – Butter Chicken, Deep Fried Corn, Tangdi Kebab, Jeera Rice, Chicken Drumsticks, Paneer Chutney and Chicken Tikka Masala. For the spice lovers, Chicken Angara would be just divine! Diwani Handi too is a must try. The Chinese cuisine too is quite liked by many here, though I prefer the North Indian cuisine.
The best time to hit this place would be for a nice exotic brunch or an early dinner as the crowd thickens by late afternoon and night. Weekends too are crowded to the hilt so it is advisable to reach there by 12-12.30 pm for lunch or 7-7.30 pm for dinner during the weekends. Rest of the days you can drop by any time between 11.30 am to 10.30 pm.
Hungry already? Don’t delay, rush to MayaBazar today and take a scrumptious ride!
