Style Check – Part II

In continuation with my Style Check series is another dazzling piece. This time adding a little more heat to the existing climate, is Aarti Singh, one of India’s sizzling models.

Aarti is an ace model, a wonderful friend (would love to brag about my Ranchi connection here 😉 ; and a beautiful human being.
She started her modelling career with ‘Dabur Gulabari Miss Fresh Face’, was a part of ‘Zoom Fashion Drill’ and has walked the ramp for various Fashion Weeks nationally. Aarti is an aspiring actor, has walked for various top designers and has also done a Panasonic TVC with Vaun Dhawan.

Doing a little recap…if you recall, I launched my series with the post on the actress Aditi Chengappa (; I was overwhelmed with the response I got from that post. Thank you all! This has pushed me to bring forth the next in the “Style Series”, 2 days prior to the scheduled date.

Hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed compiling it! 🙂

Styling tips –
Since it’s summer, it’s always good to go with flowy wear. Opt for palazzo or skirt and team it with tank tops… It looks very chic and classy at the same time. It’s also very good for people who are short in height; as it gives them a tall look.
Always keep a collection of scarves – printed and plain; when in confusion and hurry, team a plain top and a printed scarf or vice-versa.
Summers also give us a reason to tie the hair so go for those awesome head gears to make that ‘simple look’ appear more stylish!

Your style statement –

I don’t really have anything in particular. I love mix-matching and experimenting.
But something which I really find comfortable is Jeggings with a long shirt and hair tied up. It looks stylish too.
I also wear a lot of long dresses; I team it up with a crop top if it’s a noodle strap long dress.
I love to accessorise when I wear plain clothes. It brings a lot of difference in the look.

Wardrobe essentials –

Something to keep essentially in your wardrobe are a few good white and black tops. These work best with denims, shorts and skirts.
Also every girl MUST have an LBD (little black dress) as it never goes out of fashion and is best to wear when nothing particular comes to mind.

What is Fashion for you –

Fashion is eternal. Without it the world would be boring and plain.
One must always experiment and should not be afraid of trying new styles. And when you do that, never forget to wear your confidence along. It actually brings the change and not just the clothes!
